          Bronze with clear patina depicting the famous character from the Commedia Dell'Arte, and signed "Bouret" at its base.
          Eutrope Bouret (1833-1906) was the son of Charles-Louis Bouret, bronze editor, and Catherine Rigaud, seamstress.

          A pupil of Louis-Charles-Hippolyte Buhot, he made his debut at the Salon of 1875.
